We just released [2026.08.1](https://github.com/Screenly/Anthias/releases/tag/v2026.08.1).

The biggest change is really a completely overhauled CEC (TV power management) support. It is a bit experimental so we would love people to chime in if this works or doesn’t work!

Although I’ve just upgraded directly to 2026.08.2 I instantly tried this. The setup is a Pi4 with an older 32 inch TV by Telefunken (around 10 years old) as the monitor. CEC works. I can turn the TV on and off from the settings page.

Kind of. But it depends. CEC is _very_ inconsistently implemented across TVs and manufacturers.. Speaking to other users, for many it it _just works_. For others, it doesn’t.
