# Not getting past the balena screen on older versions of Balena OS

Hi there,  
I am in the process of transitioning my screenly installation to Balena.  
However, when I use the BalenaOS 2.29.2, screenly seems to start, but the screen stays on the Balena Logo and the webserver just responds with 502 - Bad Gateway.  
For now I will have to use the older version since all higher versions do not support the RTL8291 WiFi chipset, which is needed as the built-in WiFi does not reach far enough.  
Any idea so far on what I could try. Running it with the newest BalenaOS works fine, but it doesnt support the WiFi stick.

Well, I guess I’ll just buy a supported WiFi stick
