Well, I can tell you right now by testing that it is probably because it is a heavy website that uzbl (the browser screenly uses for the production version uses), you can try the experimental version and see if its any better, but also the pi hangs because this consumes too much memory, and as I recently wrote to someone else, you can fix it manually or wait for my PR to get approved and applied, here is the post where I wrote what to do to fix the memory consumption causing freezing issues:
