Hi everyone,
Quick one from the team. Anthias has quietly become one of the most-deployed open-source digital signage players out there, but if you search for digital signage on review sites or GitHub, you’d never know it. Most of the people finding Anthias today come through word of mouth, and we’d love to make it easier for the next person to find us.
We’re not asking for money. We’re asking for a couple of minutes of your time, if Anthias has been useful to you.
1. Leave a review on G2
We’re currently at just one review and want to get to 20 by the end of November. G2 is where a lot of people doing software research end up, and open-source projects are badly underrepresented there. An honest review from someone actually running Anthias is worth more than anything we could write ourselves. Be candid: the rough edges are useful feedback too.
2. Star us on GitHub
Stars are how new people judge whether a project is alive and worth trying. If you’ve got Anthias running on a Pi somewhere, you’re exactly who we want to be visible to others.
Either one takes about two minutes. Doing both would be brilliant.
And if you have a screen running somewhere interesting (a shop, a school, a hackerspace, a lab), reply in this thread. We’d love to see it, and a few of those might end up featured.
Thanks for being part of this,
Viktor & the Anthias team
