This has been asked many times before. I’m aware of the limitations of an offline set up using a local WiFi network that can’t access the internet/NTP.
Nonetheless this is the situation in the organisation in which my screen is operational.
However Anthias is working well over a local network apart from being able to activate uploaded assets which will only work if internet connectivity is present. I understand this is due to needing to access a NTP.
I’t seems straightforward to add an RTC to my pi and set the system time against it.
My question is whether this will the allow the assets to be activated or if there’s another limitation to this I’m not aware of,
