The last couple of weeks Anthias has worked very well. But this morning when I arrived in the office the screen was blank. The web interface works fine and if I reboot the splash-screen does show. I’ve tried re-installing AnthiasOS, but with no luck. I’m running it on a Raspberry Pi 2B connected to ethernet. An old device but it has worked fine before.
Any idea on what I could try? Is it a bad update? Thanks in advance!
Hmm, strange. Should in theory work, but Pi 2 and Pi 3 (32bit) is in legacy/maintenance mode so you might want consider swapping it for a Pi 5.

Thanks for you quick reply. I’ll see where it goes with the 2B the next couple of days. If it stays like this I’ll file a ticket to order the Pi 5 with my company.
Reproduced and found the root cause. It’s a faulty library shipped in the updated QT. Still investigating.
Hi vpetersson, Have you been able to investigate this further? I’ve noticed that an MP4 does play every now and then, but JPG’s and websites stay blank.

Yeah, we’re doing some more stress testing.
It is however worth noting that the Pi 2 will suffer with playing modern web content due to both limited resources and the fact that the browser stack isn’t updated in QT 5.
I think it is probably time to swap it out for a Pi 5 if you can.
