I’m able to use the remote connection over ssh, wondering if I could access the Anthias web controls via this connection?

Possibly. It’s not something we’ve used ourselves, but if it can forward ports, then possibly. I would personally recommend something like Tailscale instead. If you install Anthias yourself, then exposing Anthias over Tailscale would be easy.

The raspberrypi connect is already installed in the standard pi os , would be so cool if that can be used for remote web frontend access also. Maybe via ssh tunnel?
Possibly yes. I have no experience with it. I do however think @salmanfarisvp is using it, so he might have some suggestions.
It’s unclear to me if Raspberry Pi Connect only works in Desktop mode, or if it can be run headless.
