Anthias not updating the player with new assets

Hello, I am running Anthias via Debian Lite trixie / 13 on an old HP ProDesk PC.

I installed the newest version of Anthias v2026.6.3 and am running into the following issue:

Web content (any URL) does not get displayed in Anthias. If in rotation with local files, the URLs get skipped. If left by itself, it instead shows the white Anthias icon on a black background (as if no asset has been added).

This whole setup has been working properly on Rasberry Pis that I’ve installed using the same OS, so I’m wondering if this is a known issue. Is it something to do with the Hardware, or is it a bug in the newest Anthias version?

Edit: The preview within the Anthias web view shows the URL content properly as it is to be displayed, too. However, in the actual rotation it just gets skipped

Edit 2: after tailing the logs, it shows i.e:
Asset screenly clock widget at https://clock.srly.io is not available, skipping.

This happens with every other url, however, the signals don’t even reach the firewall…

DNS Entry is forced to 8.8.8.8 and reading web pages through the docker via curl for example works.

I’ve played around a little, turns out changing the DNS entry and using docker exec down / docker exec up seems to narrowed it down a bit:

Web pages that were previously entered now are displayed properly, including the original webpage (substitution plan for a school) now works.

However, newly added content, regardless if local or not, does not get displayed. Tailing the logs indicate that nothing has actually updated.

Is this a caching issue? Why does the cache hang itself up?
