Hi,
I am very new to Screenly OSE but already like it !
My question is
I want to display a png image on the screen.
I made the slide in powerpoint on my mac and exported it to png with resolution settings 1920 x 1440
This works but it does not cover the whole TV screen. I get black space to the left and the right.
What am i doing wrong ?
Help appreciated!

This is incorrect. It needs to be 1920x1080. The only exception to this would be if you are using a Pi 4, but that’s not fully supported in Screenly OSE yet.

Sounds like an overscan issue. You can change this using raspi-config.
Hi,
I now have 2 black bars above and below the slide.
How can i correct that ?
Hi everybody,
I solved my problem !
Put this in /boot config.txt and reboot
disable_overscan=1
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=16
and the top and bottom black bar are gone !
Hi,
I was to excited that i solved it. On my Dell 2419H everthing is ok. But when i use it on a Benq 24 inch or
Samsung 245B Plus i get the black bars (above and bottom)
Anyone have a solution ?
