Can't get Anthias working in Portrait 9:16 mode

Hi,

I am recently trying to get couple of screens working in portrait mode. I got video and images working in landscape mode just fine in full screen(1920x1080).
For some reason when the video or the image is in portrait mode (1080x1920), the content is not being displayed in the right way.
Here is an example:

The RPI does not seem to be the issue since while booting up it shows the welcome interface in the right format:

I’ve found that the ./screenly/screenly.conf file contains resolution details, I ve changed that one to 1080x1920, rebooted the RPI but no change.

Where can I change the configuration of Anthias to get content adapted to portrait mode ?

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben

have you managed to solve this?
I’m having the same problem

Hi Sadduc,

Unfortunately I was not successful on fixing the root cause of the issue. Thus one possible workaround is to change the re-orientation of the picture. It will depend on the screen resolution that you are using but if you flip the picture it will be displayed correctly.

Thanks,
Oussama.

Hi Ben

I have tried this solution now and it certainly works.
It is unbelievable that there is no other solution. Rotating all my videos and photos is a lot of work…
Thank you very much!
