So i got a raspberry pi 3. downloaded the latest version On this site: Releases · Screenly/Anthias · GitHub
Choose this file: qt5-5.15.2-buster-pi3.tar.gz
But how do i make that tar.gz file in to an img or iso file so that i can transfer it to a USB drive for installation?
I tried the other method, download raspberry pi OS Lite and install using terminal, but i just got a lot of errors so i would like to make a clean install from USB. Thanks.

The one you downloaded is not an OS, you can find the OS under GitHub-actions. Take a look at the below images and I mentioned the specific OS files.
This is much simpler now. You no longer need to download a tar.gz file or build an image yourself. Anthias is available directly in the Raspberry Pi Imager: open the Imager, choose Anthias from the operating system list, and write it to your SD card. Marking this as solved. If you get stuck on a step, just ask.
