Hey, cant seem to get screenly to show the web pages as they actually look like with the design.
Also how do i get it to cover the entire screen?

First, you need to be running the latest OSE because it uses newer web browser which fixes a lot of the old problems with websites displaying properly.
Second, you need to edit the /boot/config.txt file and have disable_overscan=1 and i also specify the hdmi group and mode as you can see from this example:
