Just posting here as I recently upgraded all my pi 3b+'s to Anthias 2026.6.3, fresh installs, and video playback results in a blank viewer. Previews work however. Anything reported on this or is this new?
My suspicion is that it’s something with the encoding. Could you run this debug script and attach the result?
The script ran a bundle of logs in a tar. Which log do you want?

We have some new leads on this - still investigating.
Awesome. I kept updated in the github and others are having the same issue. Hopefully a fix comes soon.
I think PR 3110 will fix it, but the we are still validating on the test rig.
Noticed some updates in the github related to this post and today with a v2026.7.0 update.
I performed a full upgrade of my pi’s to V2026.7.0, system upgrades for Trixie, and rebooted.
I’m getting the same result…Previews can play video, video assets do not display beside audio on the PI 3b+. The fixes mentioned the github I am assuming were not rolled into the v2026.7.0 release?
All other content like web content and static pics work fine. I did notice with this release the system is running smoother however.
Correct - the fixes were not part of the 2026.7.0 release. They will make it into the next release.
Previews is done in your browser, so that isn’t a good proxy for the fix.
Noticed the V2026.7.1 release today and read the GitHub notes which included you fixes. I am happy to report the video assets are now playing as they should on the P3B+. Performance is good too. I’ll monitor this but Its working!
